The exibition, which was a part of the 26th edition of the EnergaCAMERIMAGE Festival, presented nearly 200 oil and watercolor paintings, pastels, gouaches, pencil drawings and sculptures of the most iconic 19th and 20th century artists, including Picasso, Magritte, Matisse, Chirico, Miró, Ensor, Nolde, Warhol, Kiefer, Ikemura. All works came from the collection of Michael Haas, the owner of a gallery in Berlin. This kind of exhibition, with numerous iconic names, has never been shown in Toruń and has very rarely been shown in Poland in general. It was a journey to the past, a time travel to various manifestations and ateliers of true legends. Apart from the main collection, the exhibition included three different presentations focusing on the works of contemporary artists: Jakob Mattner, Joachim Elzmann and Dimitris, which were accompanied by separate book studies. The publication accompanying the exhibition contains a complete collection of works presented at the exhibition, supplemented with biographies of all exhibited artists. Two separate books were created – one in Polish, the other in English and German. English and German version: ISBN 978-83-61580-24-9; volume: 608 pages; format: 245×245 mm; hardcover. Publisher: Tumult Foundation, Toruń 2018
